Is anyone familar with any flight schools or charter companies in the North Atlanta area?

I used to fly some at Northside Aviation at KRYY (Cobb County-McCullum Field). Their number is 770.422.4300. They had a decent selection of C-152s and C-172s - about 8 planes total. There was also a small school(s) at the Lawrenceville and Gainesville airports. Cartersville does some intense training but I think some of that is "imported" from other airports like Cobb County and Fulton County. I don't know is Cherokee County has one at their airport. A lot of my initial training was done at Mathis (84A-between Alpharetta and Cumming). That is a very small operation (i.e. one, maybe two planes). I will mention that the traffic at Cobb County has increased tremendously since I left the area in 2000.

Hope this helps...

There are several 141 and 61 flight schools at PDK, Atlanta Aviation, PDK Flight Academy, American Air, and others I can't remember.

Thanks.
I'll check them out. Kind of want somewhere that has multiengine aircrafts so I can get some multi time also.

They all have multi-engine a/c. Aviation Atlanta has the most, 4 Duchesses, and is where I got my MEI.
