After working my butt off and saving as much as I possibly could, its time for me to start my career in aviation. I now need a little advice as to what school I should go to.

My top two schools are skymates and Ariben. If I go to skymates I could pay for all the training, living expenses, UVSC, and a cheap car all by cash. At skymates there isnt a guaranteed job as a CFI with the school but from talking to the owner you have a good shot. The CFI's avg. 60-120 hours a month and leave to fly for a 135 or 121 operation with around 1500 TT and 200-300 hours of multi engine time.

If I go to Ariben I would have to take out a 11k loan for the school but I would have a guaranteed job with Ariben and rack up some serious multi time. There CFI's usually leave with around 800 hours of twin time.

My question is, is it better to take out a 11k loan for a CFI job that gets you all that multi time and would put me into a better position to get a job. Or should I go to skymates and not have to take out a loan but there is a chance of not getting a CFI job with the school and also you wouldn't even get half the multi time as you would at Ariben
