I have my CFI and am planning on getting my CFII and MEI in the very near future. Right now I am looking for an instructing job in the DFW area. I am planning on going around to all the local flight schools and handing out my resume. Any suggestions with regard to what to say, what to ask, or any other pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at Monarch Aviation a couple of years ago (March 2004). They were based at ADS with a facility at TKI at the time. If I remember they were looking at opening up at Downtown as well. The ADS facility was Part 141 but the TKI office Part 91 only. That may have changed. The kicker for me was that the instructors were responsible for recruiting their own students. I'm from Tulsa and didn't really want to move my wife to the Metroplex for something no more reliable than that. However if you're already there tat may not be an issue. They seemed to be a well run operation and fairly busy.

I'm OSU 1999. Hope I was able to help out a fellow Aggie...
