Flight Review/Medical PSA?

Alright so I have a medical that's going to turn into a 3rd class at the end of September....At the same time I'm starting training w/ PSA on September 10th....should I bother making sure my medical is a 1st or 2nd, or does anyone know if PSA have a company AME that takes care of that?

Secondly, my flight review is due also in October...should I cough up the dough for an hour flight/ground before I go to training or should I just deal with being out of currency for a few weeks during training and plan to get it in the sim check?

I beleive PSA wants you to get a first class. I wouldnt spend any cash on getting current since you will be going into the sim soon enough. Good luck! Theres a pretty good AME in Charlotte that alot of the Usair guys use...Dr. Hudson I beleive.

The only regional I think of that has their own AME is eagle.

Make sure you have a current medical, but forget the flight review. You'll be current after SIM/IOE.
