According to AIN:

Raytheon subsidiary Flight Options reported breaking even in the fourth quarter, stemming losses recorded earlier last year at the fractional aircraft provider

sheesh the sleestack never bothered me it was that little half monkey guy Chaakaa <--sp? that freaked me out. I would never let something that looked like bigfoot on hormone pills sleep in my cave.

What is the hiring status as of now at FLOPS? Do you need your resume walked in to have a chance at an interview?

affirmative

it's almost impossible right now to get on with flops. I have a rec and typed in the be-400, an nothing for a year now. also, know a guy with 2 flops guys that walked it in for him and not a peep.

i have run out of ideas.

A recommendation doesn't do a bit of good unless your buddy is calling once every one to two weeks and you are calling at the same rate (leaving voice mails for EG). A buddy of mine is interviewing next week after having his app in for about 3 months. I called often as did he.

3 month average

That's about an average wait time, considering most of the interviews are done with a single person.

The simulator eval. at the interview is no more, gone, kaput.

The best method of applying is online, paperless. On the comments section, enter the name of the employee referral you want to use. If you don't have an employee referral, then you are going to wait even longer.

It seems that the pilot with more corporate time as opposed to airline time is the hands down favorite. Why you ask?

The corporate pilot has more experience with passenger service, instead of climb in, close the door and let the attendant handle the rest.

Spelling

How do you spell Eric Gerhart? This is presumably one of the fellas at FLOPS and I wanted to get the spelling of his name correct? Anybody know.

Gerhard doesn't / hasn't ever flown for a living that I know of.
