What's the latest with FLOPS and the newly revamped Beechjet 400XT? When will FLOPS start to swap-out the older 400As for the revamped aircraft? Will it's introduction help to bring back any furloughees or will it be a one-for-one swap with minimal employment impact (as they retrofit the older aircraft)?

Also, is it true they will be used exclusively for Jet Card users or will they be sold as fractional shares (and presumably compete with the Phenom 300s)? Looks like quite a competitive product at roughly $4M completed relative to comparable performers.

What's the plan and how soon will we see some FLOPS 400XTs on the ramp?

Does it make sense that the XTs would be used for the Jet Card vs. fractional sales? If the XT can compete with the Phenom 300 in terms of performance, why would they sell it via fractional shares at substantially lower acquisition cost than shares on the new, more-expensive Phenom? The XT could cannibalize fractional Phenom sales. Depending on my flight profile, I would probably opt for the cheaper XT (especially since the interiors have been upgraded) if given the choice so long as I didn't need to routinely travel more than 1200 miles with just a few companions.
 
Not sure if you saw it, but this month's Flying mag has a good article about the Beechjet 400XT. Although the writer sounds like he was a paid endorser. Still, seems like a big improvement over the current 400As - the range bump alone is impressive. It should be a popular aircraft at the lower-cost end of the spectrum.

I know the Flight Options pilots will appreciate the ProLine 21 too - I certainly like it.
 
Flying Magazine has never reviewed an airplane they didn't like.

The Eclipse 500 when it first was proposed. They said it couldn't be done for $895K, so Eclipse refused to advertize in Flying.

Turns out they were right.
