I know it doesn't hurt to try, but I'm just curious if I'm waisting my time and their time by sending in resumes since I don't know any one who works there to walk one in. I've been updating resumes about once a month.

I've got about 2800 total 900twin and 800 turbine PIC in a Caravan.

What are competetive times right now. I currently fly Part 135 cargo.

Thanks for any info.

Info

I talked with the pilot recruiter just the other day. He told me that right now most new hires have around 4000TT & Jet Time. The most important qualification is that they *ALL* have been recommended by a current Flight Options pilot. With close to 1000 pilots there is no shortage of "good stack" resumes to pick from. Heck, I have been trying for a year to just get a friend of mine to the interview.

Competitive Times

Hey all,

I started indoc at Options 1/13/03 and spoke with Eric (pilot recruiter) about his resume pile. At that time, he estimated that he had 11,000 printed resumes (taken from the Options website) plus 600+ resumes on his personal email (those already recommended and forwarded by current Options pilots). We should all be fortunate that we have a job there.
