Just curious if any Options guys know the latest about the Citation X's that are due to start flying November 1st. Are Options pilots going to be flying them or not? If not, whats the general attitude about it? thx

At first they won't be. Once the shares are sold on them options pilots will fly them.

X's

Since we have no pilots with experience in the Citation X, there will be some sort of contract pilots crewing them initially. There is a bid out for the Citation X right now, and crews will be going to training in about 30 days. It will then take a while for crews to build the requisite experience - which will be done with contract pilots - in type before being released.

I assume that the contract pilots will be offered positions with Flight Options either initially, or after they get our crews up to speed. Supposedly, the crews are coming from the company that we are buying the X's from. If they are offered positions, they will end up going to the bottom of the list and fly what their seniority allows after they complete their contract duties.
