i am a flight instructor and doing a graduate research project i hope you can answer some of my questions about your flight school. Please list your school first.

1. how many flight students do you have enrolled in classes as well as flight training
2. how many flight instructors do you employ
3. how many flight hours do your instructors average a month
4. how much do you charge for aircraft as well as instructors
5. how much and how are the flight instructors paid ( hourly, base pay or both)
6. if there is a base pay system how does it work
7. how do the students pay for training all at once or hourly, if all at once how much does it cost

Please list your school first.

ces152 - most people don't like directly stating their place of employment on an internet message board. You might get more responses if you didn't care about the name and location of the actual flight school.

A local school

1. how many flight students do you have enrolled in classes as well as flight training

The school probably has about 25 regulars.

2. how many flight instructors do you employ

The local school has 4 or 5.

3. how many flight hours do your instructors average a month

Some "bill" as much as 100, most 40 to 60.

4. how much do you charge for aircraft as well as instructors

C172 @ $79/hr. They charge $27/hr for CFI's and pay CFI's $17.

5. how much and how are the flight instructors paid ( hourly, base pay or both)

84, 46 and instructors see 18 of that

Hourly with credit card or loans or VA benefits it's a 141 school
