A friend of mine just bought a Cessna 152 with about 10K hours and he said it was owned by Flight Express and used to fly checks. Does Flight Express have some route's that have so little cargo they can use a 152?

Probably owned by Flight Inc.

Flight Express owned a Flight School at KORL. It probably used to be theirs.

152

I think you could drive the checks there faster anyway!

Seriously I think Flight Express used to have a traffic watch contract in Orlando which a 152 is perfect for, nice and slow. they also had a couple of 172s which would go along with the flight school theory. I'm not sure about either but I feel sure they would not use 152/172s for freight with all the 210s.

Back in the 60's my dad flew plumming supplies in a 150 between Quakertown, PA and Scranton, PA 4 times a week.

I worked for flight express in '89-90. I can confirm the 152/172 traffic watch aircraft. They also used to use cherokee sixes for freight.
