I have read many threads on here about being laid off, one guy even talking about suicide on another board. Just found out my dept will soon be selling both hawkers(xp's).
I am a low time pilot (1500 tt) with about 700 jet (450 in hawkers 250 in beechjets) and a type rating in a BE400A. I also have an A&P with about 9 yrs of maintenance experience. I consider myself very fourtunate to have been able to get the quality flight time I have. I gave up the best Aircraft maintenance job in the country (UPS) to fly only to be laid off 16 months later. THe great thing is I would do it all the same knowing what I know now!!
If you have a dream Follow it to the end... Any way enough rambling just wondering if anyone may have any leads for a lowtime first officer/ mechanic, willing to move.
PS only two classes away from my Bachelor's degree from Embry Riddle.
