Flight Department Admin Software

Anyone have any suggestions on a software package that does scheduling, crew expense tracking and billing for your departments? I have looked at a few but can't find the one that fits just right.

FOS is awesome - Not sure what it stands for but It might be FlightOperations Software

Stay away from "BART" - it sucks! I have heard they are doing some updates to the software but I'd still avoid it...

We use it. It works. Its far from awesome IMO...

Its kinda outdated and can be somewhat cumbersome...but seems to be the best of all that is avail out there today.

Someone could do well making some up to date Flight Department Software.

FOS by CTA is by far the most comprehensive aviation software on the market - no one comes close. I've personally had it installed in 4 flight departments I was associated with in one way or another.

It is extremely important to get good training on what the software can do - that WAS the only negative about the software. The good folks in Charlottesville finally listened to all the bitching about that and have contracted with an outside vendor to provide comprehensive training. The people doing the training are former users of the system, and know it inside out. They are doing an excellent job - I've had them in my department twice already with excellent results.

Our flight department just signed up with Professional Flight Management and it is excellent. Tech service very professional and capable.
