Yes I know there was a post a while back about flight kits but I have narrowed my search down and need your input..... Should I go with the Scott or Coyote bag?????? Please reply if you have first hand knowledge of both and can make a constructive comparison.

This is what it came down to for me: What goes with your stripes? The Coyotes have silver hardware, Scott offers gold.

Coyote also offers the skidplates if you prefer up-armored luggage. :bomb: Hopefully they are both lifetime bags, so you shouldn't find too many people who have flown with both.

I am very happy with my Scott!!! I have had it going on 5 years and yes it is starting to show it's airline "MOJO" or battle scares. Very well made and is one of the more popular flight kits.

My only advice, no matter what brand you get, I recommend a flight kit that is leather!!

I know nothing about the Coyote bag, but I just took delivery of a Scott jumbo flight case with the straps around the bottom. All I can say is dam, I should have done this years ago. With the options I spent 421 bucks and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Coyote Works looks like an impressive flight case. However, it has not been around quite as long, and thus is less "battle-tested" than the Scott. I've never heard a complaint about the Scott, and they're both virtually the same price, so why go with anything else (other than Cardinal's color issues )?
