Purdy Neat Things makes avery nice bag.

Good service - they replaced a defective bag with a brand new one, promptly.

They have huge plastic rails under the bag to keep your precious Jeps out of the glycol. No annoying little brass feet.

A bit spendy, but good.

Scott bags

I am a BIG fan of Scott bags. Expensive, but...

After 3 years Beech 1900 coat closets with passengers' bags dumped (and sometimes crushed) on top of it, and being dragged around glycol, salt and sand covered ramp areas in all weather, my bag has held up very well. The saddle leather is thick enough to put up with all the very substantial abuse I have put it to, and a little saddle soap and shoe polish does wonders for the scuffs and stains it gets from that abuse.

My update on the ballistic flight bag. It is slightly different than the picture. It has a leather handle just like the leather bags and the handle goes thru one of the top flaps, just like a leather bag.

Of course its too new to gage how long it will last. But it seems very sturdy and has heft to it. Perhaps heavier than a leather bag. I wanted to put not only pro gear but a notebook in it. I think the thick, stiff sides will do the job. I orginally thought the fabric would last longer, but now I'm not sure. I will miss not putting stickers on it.
