I'm curious to find out how many regionals have flight or duty time restrictions more restrictive than the FAR's. This would also include a minimum rest in domicile greater than FAR requirements. For instance do you have a "minimum time behind the hotel door?" So if your contract provides you with flight or duty time restrictions more restrictive than the FAR's please post a reply or send me a PM. Thanks.

Chautauqua & Republic

Line Holders lines constructed with no more than 90 hours/month.
Composite (mix of reserve & scheduled days) no more than 92 hours/month.

Reserve call outs only 12 hour blocks.

Minimum 10 hours rest in domicile between duty periods.
Minimum 8.5 hours rest away from domicile.

Max 14 hour duty period.
Continuous Duty Overnights (Stand Ups, High Speeds, or what ever you want to call them) are limited to 15 hours.

Lineholders min 12 days off/month.
Reserves min 11 days off/month.

I just looked at Section 12 of the Comair PWA posted on airlinepilotcontracts.com

I'm quite impressed. No more than 11-13.5 hours scheduled duty depending on when the showtime is. Later show = less duty time. That's good thinking.

Hi!

Air WI

I think most of the regionals have some contract stipulations that are more restrictive than the FARs are. I think even TSA does.

Cliff,

Can you share some specifics? The reason I posted this question is that I don't want to have to look up every contract. Plus some aren't available on the internet. So tell me, what does the Air Whisky provide beyond FAR's when it comes to flight and duty time restrictions.

Hi!

I don't know the specifics, but I believe the AWAC contract specifies a shorter duty day than the FARs, for one thing. If U want to know about AWAC's situation, I would search for them on this forum, and private message some of the pilots that work for them (I don't).
