does anyone know if flexjet will be uping the pay in 2008 and/or opening any new bases? if so how much and what bases? also have an interview on monday any advice?

Slider,

No one knows what management is going to do. All we know is that they are going to do something. We are supposed to hear something this month.

As far as the interview goes, just be yourself. You will have a one on one with either and assistant chief pilot or someone from training as well as a sim eval. They are not looking for you to know the airplane, just that you can follow ATC instructions and that you can keep from crashing.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Are Flexjet capts paid by years of seniority or years in seat?

Ex. 3rd yr FO upgrades to CA.
- CA pay is now 3rd yr CA, or 1st yr CA?

Thanks.

Hey Slider why don't you come back here and tell us what they told you in regards to new bases being opened. I hear they have been telling interviewees that we are more than likely opening 10 bases. No this is not rumor or "hearsay" it is a fact from a person I talked to that just interviewed recently. We want to know if they are giving false hope to interviewees.

I interviewed in late November. They did not discuss any new bases. However when I spole with HR at the end of December, they said they were "studying" new bases.

They've been studying additional bases since 1995. We are up to 4, that's 1 base every 3 years. We'll catch up about the year 2300.

They're studying new bases like my dog is studying the clouds in my back yard with a grimace on his face.
