a friend of mine is interested in applying but a guy who just got hired told him that the schedule is now
8 on/6 off.

any truth to that?

I thought you guys had the choice between 3 types:
6on/4off
5on/4off
4on/3off

No, that is not true. No one is working 8/6. We are as you thought below on the 6/4 etc.

I've gone 4 on/9 off, and similar, a few times. (Might have been 5/8 or something). The point is that we are never scheduled beyond 6 on unless we specifically volunteer.
