Can any flex guys out there answer....

Is there any hiring right now, or what is the forcast?

What aircraft do you fly.

What is the pay, starting/captain

What kind of schedules.

How long to the left seat.

How are you treated by the company?

Thanks a ton for the info!

I'm ex-Flex but still have a couple of friends over there.

1. Not now, they have 39 pilots on furlough

2. Lears 31a, 45, 60 and Challengers 604

3. Starting around $32.000 (could have changed a little)

4. Schedules between 15 and 19 days a month preferential bidding system based on seniority

5. Left seat not in sight right now...people are furloughed and the last upgrades run something like three years or so

6. Depends on who you ask but I think the general consensus is that treatment has deteriorated steadily over the last three years.

If you have a choice, my suggestion is to go with EJA...have friends that left flex-jet for them and they seem to like it MUCH more!

My suggestion, if you have a choice, is to go with Citation Shares. They are still growing, adding aircraft, upgrading pilots, and pay more than either NJA or Flex Jet. Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

And NJA isn't? giggle, giggle, snort

CS only operates 3 a/c types though. (CJs, Bravos, Excels) The largest being the Excel.

From all the CS pilots I have talked to, they seem to love it there.
As do I at NJA.
