Minimum requirements: 1st Class Medical certification, FAA ATP with type rating in at least one specified Bombardier fleet aircraft with a minimum of 500 turbine, 500 MEL, 2500 TT

Is the requirement of having a type in a bombardier aircraft flexible? Is it acutally a requirment?

where did that quote come from??? it is not true. Nobody in my new hire class had a type in a flexjet aircraft.

I've been trying to get an interview, like many others. I was just wondering if that was a factor when I saw that.

Can you give me an idea what your schedules are like? And scale of 1 - 10 how well do you enjoy it?

I think I'm tired of flying night freight. I've flown the regionals, and the big iron, now I want quality of life.

To add a question... concerning the pay rates on airlinepilotcentral.com

When you upgrade into the Lear, do you move back to year 1 pay?

And then when you upgrade from Lear to Challenger, do you go back to year 1 pay again?

Thanks

That "type rating" quote on the web is probably bs.

You go back one year when you make captain but, same year for challengers when you upgrade. example; a year 8 lear captain will go to year 8 challenger pay. but a 2 year f/o that makes captain will go to year 1 captain pay.

I would say on a scale of 1-10, I would give this place a 7. I'm curious to see what happens next year when its time to get another raise. Also, we do get bonuses every year based on fuel savings. My check this year was almost $1000.

oh that quote you are talking about is not hiring mins... that is meant for owners to read, so that they know what qualifications their pilots will have. What it means is that each pilot will be captain qualified.

Hello Guys,

does anybody knows if Flexjet would have a problem hiring somebody with a DWI on their record ammitted that this is the only black spot on the pilot record?(no accident, viol, no speeding tkt, etc.) absolutely nothing else.

Any info is appreciated, THanks

Drinking is encouraged but, not sure about the dwi. Be honest about it and if you get the interview I would definitely bring it up. Tell them how your life has improved and changed afterwards.
