Which would be the best job that would set you up for a job at either Flex Jet or Net Jets?

1) Scheduled Commuter Part 135 (C-402 Multi PIC, lots of IMC)

2) Charter Part 135 (Lear 60 SIC w/Type)

3) Regional 121 (EMB 135/140/145)

Any good feedback would be great.

OK Muther, I admit, I'm not getting your joke.

Um, didn't you just post this exact topic a month ago?

Muther,

If your goal is to fly for Netjets or Floptions as a career you have horrible judgement and shouldnt be a pilot in the first place!! The question you should be asking yourself is,"What job will place me in the best position to be hired by a major airline"

You gotta admit, it is a bit of a strange post...

why in the world are you trying to tailor your career path to wind up at a fractional???

Not that flexjet or netjets are bad jobs by any means whatsoever - but to make that your ultimate goal????

Aim higher.

Ok.. I'm a little confused here.. I'd like to make FLOPS a destination. All the pilots I've talked to like the company, and since I'm 37, it will be a hard ride to the majors right now only to have to retire, assuming it takes me 10 years to get there, in 13 years with the major, and probably never make captain in that time.

I'd like to shoot for FLOPS, and if I get a major job then that's a bonus, but who knows in today's job market.

Am I missing something as well?

sb
