ive heard theirs was a bummer. ive got more than one 5,000 hour friend that got denied after a good performance, they all feel they got shortchanged for no particualr reason. any idea what the snag was?
Honestly, I don't know. I could of done better on the written. They really acted like they were going to hire me. I enjoyed flying the sim and the whole experience was positive.

I got turned down at Netjets back in July... with 3 letters of recommendation. Got into Flex with none. Got a friend at Netjets that got turned down at Flex a year or so ago! Go figure!
I'm not sure what they're looking for... You should see the hodge-podge of varied backgrounds we've got in class right now. Ages ranging from around 30 to 55 ... from turboprop only to 747 drivers... corporate and airline backgrounds including freight only and passenger operations as well!
On the day that you interviewed, I believe there were four and none were hired... One reportedly refused to fly the sim on the grounds he had 10000 hours and didn't need an evaluation...
All I can say, is if you've got a job, keep it for now, if not... May the force be with you! Good luck!
I planned on keeping my job but the company had other plans. The members got upset and recalled the plane I was flying. My company let all four pilots go and the old company only hired two of us.
I really enjoyed the interview and left with a positive feeling. But I was obviously wrong........
Good Luck At Flex

there were 2 of us that day (last week of last month) who interviewed and we both got the good news the following day. i was told to expect the lr 45 while the other guy, the 604.
a week later the other guy called me to let me know that k. parr informed him that they were going to reduce the class and that he had to wait till next year for training since the class on nov 21 would be the last for the year.
i sure wish they don't call to drop me off the class.
I interviewed there about 2 1/2 years ago. Thought everything was going my way, in fact, it was the best interview i've personally ever done. I thought I did well in the sim, ( because I was flying a lear 55 at the time and that's the same exact sim I went to recurrent in). I did well on the written, and I thought I did well in the one on one session as well. I felt pretty good about things until a few days later the HR lady left me a thanks but no thanks ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE! How professional! Anyway, I wound up getting hired at RTA, thank goodness!
