You must be a poster boy for USA. This is the third thread you've posted this crap on. USA jet sucks....you are a seasonal pilot. Frieght only pays better at Fed ex or Ups.

Get your facts straight

Freight Pays Son! So keep living in that crash pad with 6 dudes, and complain about how the industry sucks. I'll take my 35K starting pay and you can take your 19K and cry.:bawling:

Freight Pay's Son!

I love it when people call you son. It automatically makes them seasoned, grizzled, experienced aviators. I automatically show respect for them.....or wait, usually it's just ridiculous down-talking, and they are no better than the rest of us.

Oh, and before someone beats me to it, "pay's", are you showing ownership for son or are you really trying to say "pay is". Sorry, couldn't resist.

Are you one of those know it all FO's that tells the captain what to do?
So, what pilot mill school did you come from?

UND. University of Numerous Dorks.
or
ERAU Egotistical Retarded Aviators United

You sound like a real open-minded kinda guy. Did I fly with you the other day? Does your crew brief involve pointing at your shoulder reminding everyone that you have an extra stripe and deserve blind respect? I don't tell the captain what to do. I just want to get to the hotel. I'm just tired of being called son and people assuming I don't know what I'm doing just because I haven't lost all of my hair and don't wear a mustache.

I made around 23K my first year at SkyWest

I just finished my last pay period on first year pay at Skywest. My total pay for the whole year including stockpurchase and 401(k) contributions was $27919.32 gross.
So it was not high but still much higher than the 19K figure that gets tossed around on here so much.

Good pay info.....by the way.

Not sure about all the flame though.

The first year pay at ALL regionals is the same: $ Crappy

yeah but skywest's is especially dispicable. 19 an hour, come on boys...if you dont want a union grow a pair and get it changed.

USA Jet 35K 1st day of GS for the DA-20 and 38K 1st day of GS DC-9, no junior manning, hard days off, $1.83/hr per-diem, $300 per diem advance 1st week of GS and tuition reimbursement. But no glamour, have to wear a pager, don't get to walk down the concourse in uniform, with a neat hat. Upgrade comes too fast for most low timers to handle. It is not about the money; it is about glamour and respect.
