I thought composite planes had to be white for temp?

Older foam core composite (fiberglass payed up over a foam shape) construction, this is a true statement. Home builts like long-ezes, glasair, etc.

Newer, larger composites are multiple layers woven and layered to a shape, then baked in a giant oven.

Well.....there ya go......

Ok structural engineer, if you don't want to look like more of a d-bag elaborate on my above post.
