Why do you whine all the time, when we point out that you dispatch with minimum fuel and into questionable weather? I know, no one does that.

We wouldn't have to tell you how to do your job, if you did it right in the first place. Now, whining is not going to solve the problem here, but unless you come up with a better solution, we are going to have to fire all dispatchers and hire new grads fresh from school who won't complain and will do the job right.

No one needs to get fired here, no matter what. We will fire no one if you all get together and start reading those METARs TAFs and NOTAMs and showing some real support out there. Remember, no one needs to be an a$$. Dispatch with safety!

Minimum fuel? I'm pretty sure that you aren't landing at min fuel. You guys all think that you need 2000 lbs above reserve to land. It's because of the pilots that the airlines lose money. Quit being a cry baby and fly the damn plane and call dispatch when you have a legitimate problem. We dont cater to personal preferences.

Well said. And I hope he realizes most of the mistakes on releases are made by new grads fresh from school.

I thought you had to have a strong understanding of the ENGLISH language in order to fly for an american airline. He does know we compute landing fuel in pounds and not kilograms, right? He is parking the aircraft at the gate on the tarmac and not on blocks in the grass, right? Because we don't figure that into his taxi time.

Certainly not to defend a moron, but half of our fleet is metric.

OK, moron, you obviously didn't get the joke. When you land with 2.0 on the fuel and you were thinking metric should have been more like 907....I don't even know why I am explaining this one to you.

Whoa, whoa, I was thinking the moron was the originator of this thread. Sorry if you misunderstood.
