CFI Written Study Materials...
Hey y'all...just finished up with the commercial written and am now looking on to the FOI and FIA...just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on study materials?
I don't really like the "memorize the test" approach, as I'd rather learn the material so if asked (in the oral) I can give a somewhat intellegent answer...
I used the Jepp Instrument/Commercial text as well as the Airplane Flying Handbook and Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge books to study for the Commercial and was very happy with the results...I'd like to try to get 'em all right on the CFI written...so if there's a book similar to any of those that would be awesome!

I've heard that a lot of the FIA material is just "advanced" CAX material which is just "advanced" PAR material...any truth to this? If so, maybe I can knock out some of the studying right now...thanks again
