Hi,

How hard is it to get a sim instructor job at FedEx or UPS, and do these jobs offer eventual transfer to the line potential (I'm 98% sure FedEx does).

Just wanting to know how the selection process is, and what the competitive qualifications are.

Thanks in advance,

FCN

Most (if not all) sim instructors are current UPS pilots. The union pilots seem to do most of the training while the mgt ones do the checks.

I have heard of guys who teach ground school while getting their ratings and then becoming mgt pilots.
