Not to be an alarmist...but here in Fort Lauderdale (12/29)...the local news station, NBC6 gave a live report at 11:05pm EST about a threat made via a letter sent to the Memphis Hdqtrs...
Specifically targeted was FedEx's planes based at FLL ...reportedly FBI is involved and on the premises...
I usually see about 2 A300's or MD-10 on the ramp on any given night..
Hopefully, more attention now will be given to the Cargo Security Project..
