If you want to buy some of that music look up Ultra Lounge Collection - Spacecapades is my favorite. Good stuff. My wife and I play it at our retro parties.

Those last few approaches before all the diversions and holds must have been nasty. Were those targets little birds flapping their wings? Grooovey!
