Good news swimmers and FNG's the word on the homefront came today when I called HQ and talked to the ladies. Unofficially THEY are "extremely hopeful for two classes in JUNE". The unofficial word came from BH on April 30th at NOON>... She said that the Bigwigs had been asking about dates and #'s of people that are available to start. She was way more positive then last time I talked with them and told me they would not be suprised if these classes went through. I know we have heard all this before but lets hope this is the ONE.......WET AND WATERLOGGED

I called one of my friends who works in the schoolhouse and he usaully won't even speculate on classes or anything associated with rumor spreading(run-on sentence).. However, this time his first words when he heard my name were "Did you get a class date"? I told him no and started asking more questions.. He said real soon for classes.. He has never said anything close to this so lets hope for the best...

Judging by his reaction when I called, something is about to happen..

I Hope It's True...But

I would like to believe that the latest hopeful "rumors" will pan out and turn into actual classes. However, my "well-placed" contact inside the pilot management team has heard nothing to indicate that anybody has made any decisions yet regarding the next classes. That may mean something or it may not. At this point, who knows what's the real story. From what I've heard, the bean counters seem to be holding their purse strings very tight. At least until the ops tempo forces them to let go.

I talked to KD yesterday, and she didn't sound to happy. I asked about a June class, and she said that she still hasn't gotten the green light and it could be a couple of months. Sorry for the bad news, hope this changes...
