FedEx Delivery...on a Monday?

Just got off the phone with Calyx and Corolla to ask them how they planned to deliver on Valentines Day...Next Monday for anyone who has forgotten.

They said that they had made special arrangements with FedEx and UPS to make this happen.

Anybody have any gouge on this, any reason to think they're full of crap and my flowers will be sent by USPS five days early? Girls really like getting dead flowers, it's so romantic.

I don't have a clue who Calyx and Corolla are, but yes, we do indeed deliver on Mondays. In most areas, we deliver First Overnight by 8 AM, Priority Overnight by 10:30 AM, and Standard Overnight by 3 PM. To use these methods, the package must be tendered for shipment on either the Friday or Saturday prior.

FedEx plans for just such occasions, adding flights where necessary to handle the increased volume of flower shipments. I've operated a DC-10 leg that had nothing but flowers aboard.

Can't hand deliver? I'd think the lady would prefer the personal touch...
