Are there any FedEx guys out there that commute to MEM from Manchester, Burlington, or Portland? Is it a viable option for long term commuting? Are there other airports FedEx serves north of Boston?

I had the chance to fly with a F/O who commuted from England......I'm not kiddin'. I've also been told there are some who commute from Hawaii and the Bahamas. You can live anywhere you are willing to commute from.....just good luck getting to work.

Yes, Yes, and Yes

Yes, maybe. The more guys there are competing for the seats, the more difficult it becomes. Whatever the situation is today, it is sure to change. Could get better, could get worse. Hey, that's what commuting's all about, right? It's the price ya pay for living where ya wanna live. :)

I'm not pulling out an atlas or a jumpseat schedule, but I believe in the general neighborhood are BGR, PVD, SWF, SYR, and ALB. Perhaps an easier endeavor would be for you to ask about specific airports, or just tell us where ya wanna live. If you're an ALPA member, you can access the entire jumpseat schedule and database on the ALPA FedEx website.
