Hmmmmmm......

Use my Company e-mail, which the Company has full access to, to send a personal e-mail, to which you will reply with a password, which the Company will have access to...

unnh, uhh

I don't like that situation.

How about another way?

Hmm.. good point

Hmmm.. good point.
Give us a better solution..
Problem: We have to verify your connection to the company without using employee numbers or other personal information (that should not be given out anyway) so that we can keep each of you safe.
What is a better solution?
I am all ears on this... I would love your feedback

Possible solution

FedEx... How about this.. email us for the name of our FedEx contact using any email adddress and he can verify your connection to the company.. what do you think?

Lorilee,

What if we emailed you using our company email, but in the email, we listed a non-company email address where you could send us the password? That way, you could have proof of our employment with the from email address, and be able to send the password to a non-company to address. Is there something I'm missing with this rationale?

Smart

You are a very smart individual. That is the perfect solution.
We will begin using it now.
(Don't you hate it when you have to wonder "Why didn't I think of that?")

Thank you

It appears you have a FedEx Captain on your staff -- I'm encouraged to see his ALPA lanyard prominently displayed in the photo on the website. :)

If you can PM us his e-mail, we can respond with Name and Emp. # and he can verify. Then you can send password via personal e-mail. That way, no personal use of Company e-mail is ever involved.

I understand what you're trying to do, and I'm sure you understand the sensitivity about the Company e-mail. Perhaps this will work?

Another Wise idea

Yes we can do this option also. We do have the ability to verify.
I completely understand what you are saying about company email.
We have not stated which companies we work for to avoid using the names of our companies to our benefit.

Although I have people working with me from a couple of different airlines, I am trying to find a fair and effective way to keep each of you safe without misusing our positions in the workforce. I am the only one who has access to case sensitive information and the passwords on all of the airlines that we service. It is my responsibility to keep everything quiet, safe and secure. The two pilots pictured on WSAI are my partners. However, the only information that they, and those working with us, are able to access is the information on their own airline. We have set up this way deliberately to avoid security breeches. A lot of what we are doing may seem strict but we have to take every precaution in adhering to a specific set of rules on privacy, security and safety. The reason is that we have taken what is listed on Mainside WSAI and brought it down to a molecular level. At first glance you will not realize the in-depth involvement of how far we have taken this. However, when you need something you will realize that we have already found it for you and it is located right where you want it to be. Each airline navigation has been set up in correlation to information that can not be broadcasted. Many of the pages have information that is vague or abbreviated.. in that if you are not already privy to the information on your company you will not know what is going on and will not understand what we are doing. For those who do not know, it will look like they are accessing the information from the public side of WSAI.

Speaking of safety, if any of you see something that I have missed or that I have overlooked let me know. I am working for you. If I have overlooked any factor in your safety... please tell me.
Thank You

PS:
We will soon also have discounts for airline crews listed. We are working on that now.

To the FedEx people that emailed Me Today

I forwarded your information to our FedEx contact so that he can give you the passwords.
Tony, (Above) made a good point. Thus, I did not want to reply to your work email address.
Later, if you have any suggestions on what you see, feel free to email me with your normal addy and I will respond.
