Interesting, there is a B727-100 parked on the old Tower Air ramp at JFK. It is completely fenced in as though it had been repossessed. I know that isn't true but I thought it was just odd. Any explanation?

It was most likely donated. We are getting rid of the -100s and have donated many to aviation technical schools for training, I remember seeing an article last year on the bulletin board in the JFK ramp talking about the donation of one of our -100s to a school in the area, probably this one.

Yeah. There's one down in Brunswick, GA, sans engines that the Feds use for Air Marshall training or some such thing.
