Do I have any chance of getting called for fed ex with no internals? I have really good qualifications otherwise, I just dont know any pilot that works there. Would shipping myself to the headquarters in a fed ex box help?

tough. I would say in a year or so better odds.

From what I've heard, everyone stands a chance of getting hired. Some may be given more priority than others, but it's like that at every company. Just apply it won't hurt.

Not to discourage,
But md-11 typed, dc-10 time and experience no internal recs got me the interview but not hired. I was asked several times about recommendations but had none. But nonetheless, you cant be told no until you try.
Best of luck.
