Where's a good place to get the fe written out of the way in one day? Did the atp at a place in chicago but that was so long ago I can't remember the name of that school.
 
Your own home. Study for 2 days straight out of the book and go take it. Cheapest way to go.....and, unlike the other writtens, you actually learn something about jet aircraft systems.
 
I agree with the post above. I did mine last summer through Gleim. Just downloaded the stuff on my computer. Studied a bit in my free time over a couple of days and took the test at a local testing facility and aced it. Much cheaper than a weekend cram session.
