Does an FE written stay current if you continued flying 135 after taking it? Thanks in advance!

Short answer yes. You simply take it to the local FSDO when you are going to actually get your rating, and they will ask for some sort of proof of employment. But most companies will want or prefer a fresh one.

I believe it is only when you are employed with a 121 outfit. From my experience, most companies want one with a current date within the last 24 months.
