Does the FE written test expire after two years like the test results say or do they stay vaild if you are actively flying? A Fed Ex Capt that told me my FE written doesn't expire if I fly regularly and I don't have to retest. Thanks alot.

Must be working for a 121 air carrier

F/E does not expire if you have continuous employement with the same carrier.
For example you took your FE written in July of 99. went to work for ABC airlines in Jun of 01. your F/E is good as long as you work at ABC. Some Fed's will allow you to count time from all 121 air carriers. Such as working for ABC until Sep of 02 and going to XYZ in Oct of 02. But do not count on it. If you have taken the FW written more than a couple times you can pass it cold. I took it five times.

I believe the reg states that as long as you are current 121 it does not expire. Now comes the question, if you change jobs from one 121 to another does that constitute being non 121 current?

I do know that the expiration specifically involves your 121 status (don't remember about 135), Flying part 91 does not count.

Did you mean to say "... does not expire ..." ?

(That's what the remainder of your post seems to support.)
