Anyone have any favorite flight planning software for turbine equipment? Costs? Limitations? International?

Thanks...

For domestic trips, you can't go wrong with fltplan.com

For performance calculations, I'm a big fan of Ultra-Nav.

Edit: I just checked out http://www.ultranav.com and it looks like the CD-ROM runs just shy of $1200.00.

Ultranav is nice to provide you with speeds etc, but it doesn't address close-in obstacles.

You still lack information for the gap between certification 2.4% and TERPS 3.3%.

The only way to be 100% safe is airport analysis. I find that aircraft performance group (APG) does an impressive job at providing airport analysis specific to your aircraft. It is the single best way to insure that you carry the maximum possible payload and still clear the obstacle.

As for flightplanning, I use flightplan.com. I wish I could afford Jeppview or Jepp's internet flight planner, but i'm too cheap.

What does everyone use to find hotels with 24 hours notice? (aside from just calling the FBO and asking)

Actually, the newest version of ultranav addresses the obstacle issue. Although I'm not familiar with the APG software, I've heard a bit about it and I'm curious.

Hotels? We just stick with marriot and they almost always find us something, in a pinch we'll use the fbo but the results usually suck big-time.

Dispatcher....duh?!

Ok, I'm back to reality.
Arinc is good, but so complicated. They change the software every two weeks. Unless you are a real techo-nerd, it's impossible to kep up with it.

I'm a big fan of Flitesoft, I've been using it for domestic flightplanning for 15 years.
