Executive 1900 Captain (NY) 7/16
Part 91 operation is seeking a BE-1900 Captain. This position is to fly the company aircraft in transporting company executives, employees and business associates to conduct business on behalf of the company and its subsidiaries. This pilot's primary duty will be in the company's fixed wing aircraft. This position will be based in Syracuse, New York.

Job requirements
  • Airline Transport Pilot: Airplane Multiengine Land
  • Type Rated in a BE-1900,
  • 2nd Class Medical Certificate,
  • 10,000 hours total time,
  • PIC Multi fixed wing time,
  • Multi Turbine fixed wing time, and
  • time in type
Education requirements
  • B.S. Degree in Aviation Management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Must be a self starter and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be a cooperative team player.
  • Must accept flexible schedules including: early mornings, late nights, weekend flights and overnight travel.
  • Must have good communications skills.
  • Must be able to interact appropriately with executive level customers.

I guess an opportunity for older Commutair or Big Sky B1900 pilots... 10,000 hours as a minimum? Sheeesh.

I guess your money can go relatively far in SYR.
 
Gimme 7 more years (for time), a 1900 type, an aviation management degree, and another, better reason to live in SYR and I'm in!!:beer:
 
Yeah I saw this same ad too, not sure if it was a different source or they have changed it, but the one I read required not only 10k total, but also 10k B-1900 PIC and 10k PIC fixed-wing. Kinda hard to get one without the others. Those numbers kinda make me wonder, was the ad written by HR or insurance company??
