Hey all,
What is the shortest runway (within reason) that you operators go into and out of with the falcon 50. Can it do 3600ft. for landing at sea level?
Thanks!

Landing is no problem, I've been told by some of the demo guys that they do 3000' strips from time to time. Not something I'd look forward to on a regular occasion though. I'd be more concerned about getting out of that 3600' strip. I don't have any 50 books with me but I'd guess you'd not be able to go very far from that short strip. Not that you'd be able to in any other aircraft either. Bottom line, yes it can do it, and you'll be hard pressed to find any plane that'll do it better and get you transcon/transatlantic too.

The 60% factored landing distance @ 25,000lbs is 3600'. Actual landing distance is 2150' with a Vref of 106Kts.

At 33,580lbs, 20C and flaps 20; the BFL is 3600'.

Okay, so with a basic BOW of around 22,500lbs. and for pax with significant bags at roughly 1000 lbs. making it 23,500lbs. That gives you 10k for fuel or about 3 hours flt. time with 2500 left in the tanks at touch down. Not bad but I'm still not fond of testing that BFL!!!!! I'd probably keep the fuel below 9k just for GP but that's just me.
