My company bought a Falcon 50 and I'll go to training soon. Does anybody knows how to get a systems manual. I would like to start studying asap. Does FSI sends manuals ahead of time?

Thanks

FSI HAS REALLY GOOD PROGRAMS. ONCE YOU HAVE A SCHOOL RESERVATION I AM SURE THEY WILL SEND YOU THE BOOKS...oops sorry about the caps......... they are a fine outfit ask them for a poster too this way you can do switchology .....good luck

If FSI does send an initial manual, it will have a fold out of the panel and overhead panels.

Food for thought....use the manual for general learning as FSI doesn't teach Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4...etc... More like 5,2,1,4. Also, don't get hung up on numbers like how many psi the acm (or whatever the 50 may call it) puts out, or how many psi of bleed air goes to the wing. Good info to learn down the road, but I highly doubt you'll be asked that on an oral....and if you are, reach across the table and smack the DPE!

Get a grip on the basic. Learn the limitations and Phase 1 (memory) items. Most importantly, don't sweat the initial. Hear it in ground, read it at night, fly it in the sim and you'll do just fine.

Congrats on a great a/c!

I suggest doing your initial at TEB as opposed to DFW also!

Enjoy the Falcon 50, it is a great airplane... FSI will send out your manuals in advance if you request them. However, keep in mind that you will have to take these same manuals to school with you when you go for initial.

If you have any 50 questions I'd be glad to try and answer them for you. I fly a 50EX (no straight 50 experience) but a lot of the systems are similar...
