I need a 12 month PIC check in the Falcon 20. Are Simuflite and Flight Safety the only gigs in town? The numbers they quoted me are not in my price range. I qualified on the falcon at a 135 operator but its been 1.5 years since I've flown left seat. Can I just get a checkride somewhere or does it have to be this 5 day reccurent deal?

Also I'm new to the contract business, what is a good rate for a falcon 20 pic?

Your not going to get much cheaper then Simuflite. Make sure they know that you are a contractor.

For a Falcon 20 PIC I would try to get $500-600 bucks a day. Remember you have to pay 15% to Social Security right off the top. Plus pay for your recurrent in another six months.

sheiki, just wondering what city you plan on doing contract work in a falcon 20? Pm if you don't mind sharing info.

In the southwest.
