Earphones are one of the problems. It's purely a safety issue. Paying attention to what the hell is going on around you in a critical phase of flight. If there is an accident, or incident and these morons can't or don't get out of the airplane because they are too busy playing angry birds or listening to Adele and get really hurt or die, then they will claim they werent told how to get out of the plane safely. Well they will sue any way, but you know what I'm talking about.
