Is anyone aware of an official list of make and model for aircraft? There must be a list somewhere, but can't seem to find it with google.
For instance a CJ2 is a CE-525A, and a Cessna 152 is a C-152. I am going over my log book and want to make sure I have all the correct make/model abbreviations in the column for transition to electronic logbook.

Dunno if this is what you're looking for, but it's a listing of FAA type designators.

http://www.faa.gov/airports_airtraf...bs/Atc/Appendices/atcapda.html#atcapda.html.1

Or google FAA order 7110.65, appendix a

These are all ATC designations, not aircraft type designators for use in a logbook.

ATC changes these any time they feel like it. I saw the stretch 727 change from B-727 (same for -100 or -200) to B-722 (specifically -200 model) to B-72Q (-100 or -200 again, but hush-kitted) over a 10 year period.

They call an AC-1121 a "JCOM"!

P.S. For your logbook, Cessna 152 is a CE-152
