FAA background check

Is there an online utility for checking certificate history for any instances of violations, suspensions, etc?

The flight school I work for is thinking that might be a good idea for airplane renters and students. We know we can do it by mail but are looking for a faster solution. Anyone know of anything like that?

Local FSDO should be able to help you out. Sometimes googling the persons name with airplane will show up some stuff.
