I just got out of a relationship with a flight attendant .Just out of curiosity has anybody ever had any success?(as in long relationship ,marriage)

Hi

just divorced one after 14 years .Unfortunately between her job and mine never had a real stable life with friends and family as we were always working or traveling. (Pass riding) You have to have trust to date / marry a flight attendant . regards Vavso

I've been married for 11 years, and lived with her for 5 before that. She's been with Delta since 1990. So far, it's going pretty well. I got her into it because of the (then) weight restriction. I figured it was insurance against her getting fat. Of course, THEN they drop the policy.

Just kidding, my wife's 5'9" 116 lbs, AFTER two kids...still great looking. I'm very lucky.

The insurance against her getting fat is to not let any of that wedding cake down her gullet.
The neighbor across the street is an NWA flight attendant. Not bad looking, but anyway...she's dating a fireman. When I found out he was qualified as a certified HEO (heavy equipment operator) with the fire department, under my breath I wanted to ask him..."uhhh...you guys thinking about getting married?"

I haven't yet. It's only because I haven't met one yet that can provide a replacement for the half of my stuff that I'm gonna lose when my ol' lady takes me to the cleaner. Any rich F/A's out there wanna apply, I'm willing to interview.
Oh, man, know the feeling. Been there once, can't imagine 2x. HOWEVER, if you do come across any rich F/A's and there are 2 of them, send one my way, will ya?

Two of our former flight attendants married EACH OTHER... Married each other while they still worked here, that is. One kid, another is in the oven.

And no, since you will inevitably ask, they didn't have the kind of wedding that needed to be held in Vermont. :)

Lets hope not since they have a kid in the oven??? I guess you never know with science these days though.

they are only good if both of you are in the same industry...

 But if both married pilot and flight attendant are always away on trips ,won't it just get worse. Many of my friends marriages have been broken because of this reason.

F/A's

I have dated only one Flight Attendant, very beautiful. She was always surrounded by people wanting to know her and I admit I was one of those irritations at the beginning. All of her friends were beautiful women and I got use to being around them. She also had male friends that I did not know or meet personally.

We knew each other sporadically for several years before we actually dated. I did not know anything of her sex life. However, as beautiful as she was she did not show much enthusiasm sexually. I found out later that she was bi-sexual and although she prefered a male partner she felt it was OK to be with females while invovled with a male.

Her lack of enthusiasm stemmed from the fact that she was active with other women and had very little left when she got to me. I made all the aggressive moves but got very little in return. I finally wised up and let her go her own way. I know what you might be thinking at this point; three somes, four somes etc, yadda yadda yadda. Not good. She wanted just one man but many women and that one man could not have other women.

She was good at leaving ultimatums. I finally took her up on one and said no. She sure was nice to look at though.

I'm married to a pilot. It works out great.

Ramp Rat loves Pilot

I met my very soon to be husband while I was a rampie and he was a captain. I was marshalling him in on a very cold Maine winter day, saw this guy in the cockpit and started drooling. We started dating a month later. I then moved out of state to be with him, and we're taking the plunge next month. While I wasn't an F/A, rampies count here too!
:D

We are all part of the same community. We all work together and for some, live together. ;)

I think dating FA's is fine. Don't fish from the company pier if you can resist that. Date gals from other companies (unless you are a gal).

Skirts vs Pants

You are looking up the wrong skirt.
Guys, if you want the relationship to work with an F/A, consider the same options you have when dating a pilot. You have to have the same tolerence for low pay, being on reserve, overnights, working in a field where the majority of the work force is men. This involves allot of trust and respect.
I didn't know women wore skirts anymore. I never see them, only pant suits. How did it come about that women wore skirts and dresses anyway? You would think that a modern cross-dresser would wear jeans and a t-shirt.

Did they have cross-dressers in the 16th century? Do you think there were caveman cross-dressers?

I respect you dispatcher121 but I'm not so sure I should trust you just yet..........:D
