What are the eye requirements for helicopter pilots in the army? My vision is 20/200 uncorrected, and better than 20/20 corrected w/ contacts.

I don't know about the Army, but there are no differences between fixed wing and rotary wing eye standards in the Navy and Marine Corps.

They won't take you if you need glasses or contacts, I'm not sure what the current limit is. They do alot of night vision flying with the IF Goggles and StarLite systems that fit over you eyes. Contacts are unreliable.

Navy use to do lasic surgery which will get you in if it is successful.

Army IERW

Current requirements call for nothing worse than 20/50 in either eye uncorrected & correctable to 20/20. Just recently, the Army lessened the standard for Flight Warrants allowing them the same standard as Regular Commissioned -- which is the above mentioned standard. Warrants used to be held to 20/20 uncorrected without exception.

Now, you're 20/200 which is way out in left field somewhere. I know, I USED to be around 20/400 uncorrected & correctable to 20/20. A couple of years ago, the Army began a study of LASIK and its effects on aviators. If you run out today and have LASIK on your own dollar and OTHERWISE QUALIFY FOR FLIGHT DUTY, you can apply for an exception to policy. I've done this and now have a Class IA flight physical which cost me around $2800.
