That was expected with the new operations starting up. CEO mentioned we are in talks to add a CPA with another manjor......

Why the smiley face when posting about a company losing money?

Becaue all of the "I told you so, there's no way it can work" crowd are jumping up and down right now patting themselves on the back. But if you look at the data things have been improving steadily and branded flying is forecasted to be profitable starting Q1 2008. We've only been operating for just over 100 days what do people expect?

With the stock just about under the $4 mark, I would be worried about a takeover. That isn't alot of money for SKYW or MESA to grab the lion's share of the CAL systems RJ lift. Since they don't own the airplanes selling of assets isn't a big threat, but getting that CAL flying could be. SKYW could also get the DAL flying that XJT is doing in LAX and SLC back.

I still know several people at XJT, and they love it there! When you're the top dog people will take shots and you and rejoice in your bumpy roads. Just look at all the SWA bashers.

SKYW can not fly a hub operation for DAL out of LAX. Perhaps ASA. Forget it, DAL will just add another regional to their DCI list. Perhaps Great Lakes or Regions Air

Earnings Per Share (EPS) estimates were expected to be -$0.15 as opposed to the actual EPS (or lack thereof) at -$0.39. That is more than double the loss that Wall St. expected, hence the dive in the stock price. Luckily for me, I sold short at $8.02 and have been riding the wave ever since :)
