Given the results of this quarter that is probably the best chance the current management team has of keeping their job for any length of time. If you think it is bad now wait till you see the results of the 4th quarter and then the first quarter of next year. That should just about finish them.
The new management team will then have to find a way out of this mess.....chapter 11..anyone?

To see a new management team should make every Express Jet employee happy. These guys have screwed up big time and still are there. Chapter 11 is probably the only way to rid themselves of a 69 aircraft stone around their neck at this point.

The branded flying is working. There are some routes that didn't work but others that are working well. Also the routes that didn't work were replaced by new routes and destinations that will do well. The quarter results are because of the infrastructure costs we had to pay to start everything. I look forward to the following quarters just so you are proven wrong. The loads are good, i know because i fly them, Do You? How much knowledge do you actually have in regards to ExpressJet? I think you will be proven wrong but that is JMHO. But hey thanks for you input :rolleyes:

Full planes do not a profitable airline make (especially rj's). From a former flyi'er. But good luck anyway!

How long will start up cost be the excuse? Sounds like 9/11 being used for the past years. Being a former Xjeter I wish you all luck, but 50-60% load factors on rjs wont cut it!

Probably the most ignorant, clueless, and baseless comments ever posted on this board. I'm not going to waste the time, effort, and electrons to educate a moron on what is really going on at XJet.
Do yourself a favor and do a search on this board, get educated, and try again...

No koolaid here General ******************************, I am trying to move on somewhere else. These are just observations from from someone who actually has REAL information on the subject unlike many other armchair quarterbacks.:rolleyes:

You guys really think 46 of 276 airplanes are going to bankrupt the company? 30 of those a/c are flying profitable ops. The company has close to 280 mill in cash. Going private is an opportunity presented by low stock prices. Should the stock price rise you would see no mention of going private.

XJT did just buy back almost 30 mill in stock yesturday. That will probably be the end of company buy backs for now. Apparently a new deal w/ CAL will be announced in the coming months so there is little to worry about for the short term. The threat of CHQ being awarded additional flying is obviously not going to materialize reference the struggles they have had.

At any rate you bottom feeders will have to wait for your vindication, in the meantime you'll have to live with the poor choices you've made.
