Expressjet Application

Somthing just didn't feel right when I was just filling out my Expressjet application. It took less than 5 minutes to do. There were a few yes/no questions, personal information (contact number, home address etc) and that was pretty much it with a "senior recruiter will be calling in 60-90 days".

Is that it? Is that all the questions asked or is something up with their server or my computer not giving me a 25 page application form that seems to exist elsewhere.

Please, can someone PLEASE answer me and not go off on a tangent. Thanks in advance.

thats all the online application process is...you fill out the all the other paperwork once they hire you...

Anyone gotten the call from the "senior recruiter" lately? If so how long did it take to get that call and what did it consist of? Just submitted my "online application" tonight and was wondering what to expect. Thanks.

It was right around 30-45 days. Interview immediately the following week.

Got the call after 3 weeks. I was told to expect another call today.

The lady asked me if I was still interested. I said yes then she said please fax me your resume today because calls for interviews will be going out tomorrow.

X-jet interview....

I got the phone interview today and I go on the 23rd of this month to interview. This is my first airline interview and I am kind of excited. I have to go get a first class med, FCC license and passport, but it shouldn't be a problem.

I filled out their online app and a page popped up and told me to contact them immediately and to print this page out. I did and was greeted by a screener. She asked for a number on the page that I had printed.

Then asked me some questions:

If a thunderstorm is there and you’re here, what would you do?

If you made a ruff landing what would you say to the pax?

Read a paragraph from the page you printed.

I answered the questions and that was it. This was 5 weeks ago.

No calls, nothing.

I submitted sometime last month and was called asking to fax a resume yesterday. Have to update it and send it in tomorrow since I was on a trip.

that's some funny sh!t....gotta admit that i cracked a smile when i read that one....those small fridges were packed with drinks in our dorms come sat. night...wonder if that stuff is still going on...ha

got the call the other day, they are going to fly me to houston on the 21st. the call consisted of what is vmc, what do you do if you fly a cir app and after you start the cir you loose the airport.

then asked about the fcc lic. passport etc.... short call but sweet... the interview was about a week after the call.

Just got the call. Will be going to the interview on the 27th. Call consisted of a few questions about my current flying, and IFR procedures. After that got invited to the interview.
